Cambridge is one of the most photogenic and instagram-able places to visit in England. With its pretty cobbled streets, wide leafy parks and University Colleges, there's something to discover around every corner. And every corner is a perfect spot for an Instagram shot!

Whether you're a travel instagrammer or just love using instagram to share your travel photos, this guide aims to help you make the most out of your trip to Cambridge and find those magical spots for your Instagram shots.

The Streets

Every street in Cambridge is the perfect Instagram spot. When you're in Cambridge city centre you just have to look around to see cute cobbled streets going off in every direction. So grab your camera and be ready to snap some awesome shots.

The image above Mr D took of me recently in Cambridge, and I love it! This massive gate is Trinity College East Gate and is well worth seeking out for a great Cambridge shot.

Parks & Meadows: Jesus Green

Cambridge is full of meadows and parks and one of my favourites is Jesus Green. Not only do you have a beautiful path along the river, but you also have beautiful long tree-lined paths which look so incredible on camera.

Lunch with a View: The Anchor Pub

All this photo-taking will probably make you hungry, so I recommend heading to The Anchor pub. It has a beautiful terrace just on the water, perfect for an afternoon in the sun watching the punt boats go by. Although if it's a little chiller, I highly recommend booking a table by the window inside for a perfect lunch with a view.

Punt Spotting: Cambridge Bridges

You can't go to Cambridge without a bit of punt spotting.  Magdelene Bridge at is a perfect spot for a bit of people watching and photo taking. You can grab a cocktail from one of the many bars by the river when you're done.

Heading towards part of the city known as 'The Backs' you'll find a series of beautiful bridges leading over the river. These bridges are the perfect spots for a bit of punt spotting. This bridge is on a road called The Avenue and offers a fantastic view of St John's College over St John's meadow.

Let's go Punting

Once you've finished your cocktail this is also an amazing opportunity to hop on a punt yourself and to get some amazing photos while you float past some of Cambridge's most famous sights. Click here for a discount.
