3 HOURS ON THE NORFOLK BROADS

THE NORFOLK BROADS PETITIE BLOGGER CAMBRIDGE BLOG

We had some errands to run in Norwich this weekend. It's only about an hour and a half drive from Cambridge to Norwich, so we jumped in the car early and headed North. We managed to get everything done in Norwich rather quickly,  and as it was such a beautiful day we decided to take a long way home and drive along the Norfolk Broads.
I'd totally forgotten how beautiful the Broads were. If you've not visited before, it's basically miles and miles of riverways snaking their way around Norfolk, through some beautiful villages and country land. The Broads are popular for weekend breaks, as it's super easy and affordable to rent a boat out for the day or weekend, which I have fond memories of as a child.

We stopped off in Wroxham and took directions from a local as where the best walk was along the river. I always love asking the locals in new places, it's often so much better than the guides tell you or what google says. It's all about insider knowledge.

If you ever get a chance to spend some time in Norfolk, I highly recommend exploring the Broads, renting a boat or even going for a swim, if you're brave enough! ha!

Outfit details coming in my next post! Have a great day lovely, XO
