Sohail Castle, Fuengirola & more exploring

Our second morning in Spain, we spent the morning getting coffee and mostly being lazy in the sunshine, before pulling on our walking shoes to explore Sohail Castle in Fuengirola.  I love to walk and explore when I'm visiting places if just don't find laying on a beach all that exciting. The walk was around 20 min, and a short climb up on to the walls of the castle, giving us an epic view of the city and coastline.

Because like always, I never pack particularly well, I ended up grabbing a few things from the shops ahead of a long day of walking. Black jeans just weren't going to cut it. These lose floral shorts were perfect for a day in the sunshine! I couldn't find the exact pair, but here are some other super cute floral short options you should check out.

After we scaled the castle walls, we headed back into town to grab a spot of lunch and pick up some bikes to further our adventures along the coast. Bikes are such a great way to explore and get about when you're traveling, you end up seeing so much more than you do on foot. I highly recommend grabbing yourself two wheels next time you're exploring a new place.

Fuengirola isn't a particularly big town, but its perfect for a couple of days in the sun, based slap bang in the middle of the coast, between Malaga and Marbella. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to visit Marbella this time, but I've been once before and highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. XO
