Paris Vegan

I'm a 'Paris Vegan'! That's right, I had no idea what that meant either until the other day. But it totally summed up what my diet looks like at the moment. So incase you're confused too, I'm going to try to explain it to you. 

We all know what a vegan is, but just to clarify; a vegan is someone who chooses not to consume any animal products in their diet or lifestyle. This includes no meat, eggs or dairy etc and also no leather products or animal materials. Whereas a PARIS vegan is someone who eats vegan most of the time, but will allow some flexibity when eating out or at someone's house. 

I was a strict vegan for a while, about a year actually, but I found that eating out was super tricky. It's getting easier these days, but I never knew what to eat when I was out in town, or going somewhere for dinner. I would end up wandering from place to place searching for something I could eat, which was super frustrating, and ultimately left me hungry  hangry. 

So now, I simply do what I can. When I'm in control of my food prep, at home etc. I'll eat vegan 99% of the time. When I'm out and about, I'll be a little flexible and choose something vegetarian. I also haven't found a vegan protein powder I actually like yet, so if you can remommend one give me a message! 

So whether you're a full time vegan or sometime cheat a little, as long as you do what you can when you can, to eat a clean and animal frienly diet. XO
